Sunset Funeral Service is a locally owned and operated funeral home, now owned by husband-and-wife Meagan and Rogers Parra Munoz. Together with their dedicated staff, they are proud to carry forward the trusted service Rod and Judy Wiebe have worked so hard to build, while continuing to care for families with compassion, respect, and a personal touch.

Originally from Chile, Rogers is co-owner of Sunset Funeral Service and oversees much of the business and day-to-day operations of the funeral home. Since coming to Canada, Rogers has worked hard to build a life here and has become a familiar face in the community. He brings a practical, hardworking approach to Sunset and is proud to call this community home.
Meagan Parra Munoz
Meagan is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, co-owner of Sunset Funeral Service, and has been serving families with Sunset since 2021. Having grown up in the area, she has deep roots in the communities Sunset serves. Meagan’s primary focus is caring for families—guiding them through arrangements and ensuring each service is meaningful, personal, and handled with care.
