Yvonne Iris Olson was born June 6, 1943 in Camrose, Alberta. She passed away on June 23rd in the Three Hills, Hospital after a lengthy time fighting cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. She was predeceased by her father Wilfred Anderson, her brother Wayne Anderson and mother Lila Anderson. She is survived by her husband Marvin Olson, her son Lowell Olson(Jo-Ann), and two daughters Evangeline Palsky(Bruce), Melody Kessler. Seven Grandchildren and eight Great grandchildren. Three brothers, Lauverne Anderson(Janice), Don Anderson(Carol), Gary Anderson and one sister Irene Harder(Vern). She grew up on a farm in the Donalda area, later on having several jobs in Camrose. She met her husband at the Bethany Chronic Hospital where they both worked for awhile. They were married in the Bethany Lutheran Church north of Donalda, August 4th, 1962. Yvonne moved with her husband to various areas in the province where her husband had work, Camrose, Ponoka, Peace River, Three Hills, Red Deer and Trochu. Yvonne also had a lengthy time employed with the Advisor in Red Deer and with Koch Fuels in Three Hills and Red Deer. Yvonne was a very active person at work & church activities when she was healthy and even when she wasnt feeling very well. She loved life, her husband, family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. She was a very resilient person withstanding and recovering quickly from various operations, surprising family members, friends and the doctors. She was like the energizing rabbit, she just kept going and going to the surprise of many. She loved her work and the employers she worked for Elroy & Carol Koch. She often said she could not repay them for the love and concern they had shown her and that GOD would have to reward them for their kindness. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and others that knew her.
