Theobald Charles Paquette passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Three Hills Hospital.
Ted was born on May 8, 1924 in Viscount, Saskatchewan to Adrien and Marie Lucia Paquette. He was the 3rd oldest in a family of 9 children. He went to school in Watson and then St. Brieux, Saskatchewan. He farmed for a few years at Prairie River, Saskatchewan. He worked for the County of Lake Lenore, Saskatchewan and was self taught on equipment. Ted moved to Three Hills and started at the County of Kneehill as a grader operator. He worked his way up to Superintendent, a position he held for many years. Ted worked for the County of Kneehill for 34 years until retiring in 1981. Ted married Marie-Eva Roy in 1962. After his wife passed away he moved from his house to the Three Hills Chateau where he lived independently for 15 years until his passing.
He is survived by: his brother Adrien & Olga Paquette; sisters-in-law Shirley Paquette, Sylvia Paquette, and Mary Ann Paquette; along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by: his beloved wife of 46 years, Marie-Eva Roy; his parents Adrien & Marie Lucia (DuMontier) Paquette; his brothers Alphonse & Angele Paquette, Leonel Paquette, Gabriel Paquette and Andrew Paquette; his sisters Tessa & Lou Frere, Isabelle & Oscar Fengstad, and Lorraine & Bill Backs.
Funeral Mass will be held on his 100th birthday, May 8, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 1:00 pm.
If friends & family so desire donations may be made to St. Anne's Catholic Church of Trochu or to a charity of your choice.
