Paul was born March 17th, 1940 at Rosebud, AB. He died and went to be with his Lord on February 22, 2023.

At 8 years of age Paul moved with his parents to Tschetter Colony, AB. There he married the love of his life, Elizabeth. Their union was blessed with 1 daughter and 2 sons.

Paul was a carpenter for many years and he helped build Craigmyle Colony, which he then moved to with his family in 1984. After resigning from his carpentry job he worked in the pig barn for quite some time. In 2014 he moved to Bear Canyon, AB with his sons, he loved the north country to the fullest.

When mom passed away in 2012, dad missed her tremendously. She was his shadow. They loved spending time together and many evenings were spent going for rides and visiting with friends. Their home was always filled with warmth and laughter. Dad was a people person and was very outgoing.

In 2016, Paul lost both legs due to diabetes and after that traumatic event his daughter Lisa took him into her home at Hillview Colony to care for him. For 7 years Lisa and her girls showed Paul much care and love.

Dad's life held many hardships, but through it all he stood for what was right. His love for his Lord was outstanding and always shined through in every trial he encountered.
