Olga Edl June 4th 1937-November 2nd 2018... Olga passed away at the Rockyview Hospital with her son Robin and granddaughter Christina by her side... Olga was born and raised on the family farm near Montmartre Saskatchewan she received her schooling in a one-room schoolhouse down the road from where she lived... It was a very busy time in her childhood as she had 10 brothers and sisters... She was the 8th child to John and Annie Hewalo... After leaving home Olga pursued a career for a short time in Regina and then off to Calgary where she spent the majority of her life... Upon arriving in Calgary she met the love of her life George Edl, they were soon married where they resided in Inglewood .... This is where Olga showed her love for gardening cooking and numerous hobbies... Olga worked many years for Home Oil until her retirement...Her final home was at Boardwalk Retirement in Brentwood where she had many friends and acquaintances.... Olga was predeceased by her husband George, parents John and Annie, brothers Fred and John, sisters Pearl and Elizabeth... Olga is survived by her son Robin (Jane) and daughter Judy (Jim) sisters Justina, Evelyn, Nancy( Floyd), Mary and Diana and brother Murray (Laurencia) and her beloved grandchildren Christina, RobinJr, Andrew, Curtis and numerous nieces and nephews... A celebration of life is to be held summer 2019 at St. Michael's Church on the farm where Olga was born and raised...
