Michael Allan John Hamm, age 58 of Carbon, Alberta passed away at home on September 3, 2022, with his family by his side. Mike was born in Saint Jean, Quebec to parents Dianna and John Hamm on April 13, 1964. He moved to and spent most of his life in Alberta. Although Mikes Road was not an easy one, he persevered with tenacity. Later in life he met and married Connie; the light of his life. Mikes last years were filled with joy. Mike was a mechanic by trade and loved his work. His other interests included lapidary and paleontology; his home is filled with the fossils to prove it. Mike is survived by his loving wife Connie; father John Hamm; step-mother Judy Hamm; mother-in-law Carol Rodger; children Heather (Dee), Alex (Karlene) and Kathleen; siblings Dean (Valerie) Hamm, Trevor (Yvonne) Dreher and Lisa (Alan) Wyndham; sister-in-law Teresa (Rob) Morrison; grandchildren Thomas, Scarlett, Katanna, Brynlee, Evelyn and Layla; nieces and nephews Breanna (Caleb), Kaelyn (Daniel), James, Peter, Sarah and Nathaniel; and grandnieces Kinsley and Rynn. Mike is predeceased by his mom Dianna Hamm and son Christopher Hamm. At a later date, Mike will be interred at the Swalwell Cemetery in a private family service.
