Martha Keim of Acme, Alberta - beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and child of God, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2019 after a very brief stay in the Three Hills Hospital with pneumonia. She remained alert and aware, without pain or discomfort, and in the presence of her family until the end. She was always grateful to God for the many years of health and happiness she enjoyed, but longed for her eternal rest. She is survived by daughter Ruth, grandson Robert (Pam), granddaughter Renay and great grandsons Conner, Kagen and Willem, as well as numerous nieces and nephews including the Beckers, Riegers, Reichs, Stobers, Fischers and Keims. She was predeceased by husband Reuben Keim in 1995 and son-in-law Richard Grabinsky in 2015. She was born on a farm near Schuler and spent most of her life on the family farm southwest of Acme, followed by years in Airdrie and Linden. She spent more than a decade in the Linden Lodge cared for and befriended by the kindest and most caring staff imaginable, and enjoyed the company of the residents. She enjoyed games, puzzles, singing, and especially visits from family and friends, both near and far. Martha was a life long member and faithful attendee of the Acme Church of God (Seventh Day) and also leaves to mourn her extended church family.
