Mae Rick (Maesie) of Didsbury, Alberta passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the age of 94 years. Mae moved to Didsbury in 1995.

Born in Calgary, she lived in Alberta all her life except for a short time in Toronto, where she worked as an LPN.

Mae was an LPN, worked for the Canadian Red Cross Blood Donor Division, Taxi Driver, Limousine Driver and Supervisor for Checker Cab Company. In her retirement years she worked at a local restaurant in Didsbury.

Mae loved cats, owning many throughout the years. Horses were also near and dear to her heart. She was a loyal fan of the Calgary Stampeders and the Calgary Flames. She loved traditional country music.

Mae was spunky, loved people and had a nickname for everyone. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.

Mae was predeceased by her parents Chester and Gertie Rick and brother Frank Rick.

In keeping with Mae's wishes, there will be no service.
