Tink was born in Drumheller AB on August 21, 1953, and passed peacefully inside her Drumheller home July 13th, 2025, at 71 years old.

Tink was born, raised, and schooled in Drumheller, an original coal miner's daughter, granddaughter, and niece. Tink's father, Les Simpson, owned and operated the old Royalite/Gulf service station, which was her first job. She worked hard pumping gas, and washing dishes, in her mother Almira's Cafe. She started in the work force at the young age of 10 years old. Tink believed it taught her to be respectful, have tolerance, be responsible, and humble. Tink spent her last 20 years in the workforce as a medical office assistant, receptionist, and forms clerk at the Drumheller Associated Physicians Clinic.

Tink was predeceased by her beloved son, Darren James Craig (Melanie), as well as her beautiful friend Kathy Leonhardt. She is survived by her son, Shaun Craig (Tracie), daughter, Danielle Craig, and 10 beautiful grandchildren, also very well known as her honeybees, Mckenzie, Rylee (Quinn), Allisen (Austin), Parker (Ryley), Morgen, Foster, Madelyn, Eliza, Benjamin, and Faith. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen and Bonnie, along with their families. As well as her good friends Rete (Ron), Carol, Cheryl, and the wonderful people she had the privilege to work alongside at the Clinic.

Here is a small quote from Tink that she sent to Danielle and Rylee a few years ago in regard to her future obituary :

'All in all, along with a few disappointments, heartbreaking losses, and stupidity on my part, God has blessed me with a good life. Thank you, Jesus, and my absolutely beautiful family and friends. It's been a slice! May God bless you all.'

Tink was very loved and will be extremely missed by her family and friends.

Tink's service will be held August 2nd, 2025, at the Rosedale Community Hall, at 1pm.

Memorial donations will go to the Craig family, to help cover funeral costs for Tink.
