Kenneth Robert Hunter passed away peacefully on a sunny afternoon at the age of 84. He was the 3rd oldest of 10 children having 3 sisters & 6 brothers. He is survived by his wife Ethel and 4 children - Mark (Grace), Joy ( Lloyd), Murray, Carry(Shane),8 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren, his sisters - Lorraine (Doug) Stanger, Muriel (Abe) Warkentin, his brothers- Reg ( Butch), Harold (Amy), and 4 sisters in law- Judy, Arlene, Dorothy and Shirley and numerous nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents - Grace & John Hunter; his brothers Doug, Wesley, Art his sister Mabel Wayne; grandson Bradley and an newborn baby girl. Ken grew up on a farm east of Morrin before moving to the Acme area in 1948. Ken met and married Ethel Kostrosky of Acme in 1954. He worked on various farms before getting into the trucking business.
In his retirement years Ken enjoyed working on small engine repairs, fishing at Elliott pond and found a passion for gardening. Ken always enjoyed visits from his kids and grandkids. His embellished stories always made us laugh. The family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date.
