Our sis and auntie, the 7th child, Julia E. Siemens, was born May 30, 1954 to Ben and Betty Siemens in Morris, Manitoba. She went to meet her Creator in the morning hours of June 22, 2022, in Camrose, Alberta. Julias siblings were very important to her, and she kept us all connected. Visits with her were personal and encouraging. She was a kind soul who had exceptional insight into other peoples lives. Julia cared deeply about children. She found many ways to nurture and inspire young minds through her child care work. Relationships with nieces and nephews were of unparalleled importance and she invested hours in them. She was the queen of making ordinary events into mini celebrations. She loved animals, rescued dragon flies, and often brought a box of kittens to bring comfort or to find their way into a new home. She enjoyed all things in nature, spent countless hours outdoors, and transplanted many small trees. She explored the countryside in her locality and often took the road less travelled. Julia's two nephews and four nieces in heaven were mentioned frequently and her oldest sister Elaine left this earth 2 weeks earlier. She will be missed by her siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
