Isabelle Graham Wik (Brereton) Isabelle passed away peacefully at the age of 86 in the Three Hills Health Care Center. She was born in Strathclaire, Manitoba in the family home. Isabelle moved to Red Deer at age 19; where she worked as a Telephone Operator. She later moved to the Elnora area; where, through family she met Elmer Wik; whom she married in February 1953. They began life together in Huxley, AB where they built their home and raised 5 children. Isabelle had a gift for hospitality and welcomed many to their home. Throughout her life she enjoyed playing Baseball, Curling, 4-H sewing, Huxley UCW, dancing, quilting, crafts and baking. Isabelle leaves behind her husband Elmer, their children: Joy (Rob) Jopp, Paul (Sherry) Wik, Fay (Mike) Moran, Bonnie Wik, George (Faye) Wik; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; along with 2 sisters: Joyce (Roger) Gelinas, Mary Lippert; 3 sisters-in-law: Sonny Wik, Sonya Kennedy, Lila (Rob) Pearce and many nephews and nieces. Isabelle will be missed by her family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Foundation, Trochu, AB or Three Hills Palliative Care.
