Page - Inez, the fifth child, but first daughter, of Ole and Ida Kleven was born February 7, 1923 at Mawer, Sask. She attended school at Mawer until 1930 when the family moved to the Valecrest district near Tisdale, Sask. They returned to Mawer in 1936. She graduated from Mawer High School and attended Davidson Business College, Moose Jaw. She was a secretary/accountant at the Malden Fuel Company in Moose Jaw from 1943-1955. She spent a year at Youngstown, AB and was employed at Marr's General store there for a short time. In 1956 she moved on to Calgary and was employed as an accountant with the National Petroleum Corp. On January 3, 1958 she married Derek Page of Didsbury, Alberta. They farmed in the Lone Pine district, and had two children, Dan and Conny. Inez was involved in several organizations; the Women's Institute, the Lone Pine Orioles Girls Club, the 4-H Photography Club, the Midway Home and School, the Alberta Federation of Home and Schools, and the Midway School Board. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and later the Anglican Church. She helped compile several history books. Inez loved her family and friends very much and kept up with them all through annual Christmas letters, phone calls and visits. She had a vibrant faith in God, which was an inspiration to many. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, spending hours taking them to swimming lessons and parades, baking and watching hockey. She always loved when they came for a visit. Recently, playing whist with the seniors in Three Hills and going for coffee at Porch Light were weekly events she looked forward to. Inez was pre-deceased by her parents, Ole and Ida Kleven, her brothers, Joy and his wife Eleanor, Orin and his wife Margaret; Oscar and his wife Gerda; Kenneth and his wife Margaret and her sister Orma Johnson and her husband Earl. She is survived by her husband Derek; her brother Everett and wife Eileen; her son Dan (Debbie) and their children/grandchildren; Shawna (Josh) Van Uden, Francis, Sam, Kiara, John, Logan and Ben; Keith; Christina (Jaap) Remijn, Mary and Catherine; Andrea (Aaron) Miles, Evan, Lucy, Isaac and Clara; David (Martina) Page, James; Brian (Laura) Kayden, Weston; Travis (Becky) Joni, Grady; as well as her daughter Conny (Ernie) Neufeld and their children Marni (Greg) Hatch, Linnea, Elizabeth; Julie (Mitchell) Van Dyk, Tahlia, Oliver; Nicole (David) Paget, Kiana. Memorial services were held Tuesday, April 07, 2015 at Linden Mennonite Brethren Church, Linden, AB with interment in Three Hills Cemetery.
