Obituary

In Loving Memory of Henry M. Enns September 13, 1945 - August 13, 2016 Henry M. Enns was born to Jacob and Helena Enns on September 13, 1945 on their home property near Linden, AB. He spent 12 years battling Parkinson's, daily having to submit his frustrations to Jesus. His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God and loving prayers from family and friends carried him through to the end. Dad always said that morning was the most beautiful time of day and as the morning sun shone in on his face he went to be with Jesus. Dad gave his life to Jesus and was baptized November 24, 1961. Dad married our mom, Inez Boese, on January 26, 1968. For the past 48 years they have shared a deep commitment to each other and their love will always remain an example. Some happy memories they shared in life included their time spent fishing and camping with family and friends, gardening and family picnics. Possessing a true servants heart, dad found great joy in giving his time to community service. Some projects dad enjoyed included his time in Roundup, Montana rebuilding fences and his time at Fort Vermilion Children's Home. One of dads greatest joys in life were his 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The children never failed to make dads day brighter. He was always known for hospitality, his quick wit and great sense of humor. Even through his own struggles he always held his care for others above himself. Dad was ordained to the ministry in 1983 and he gave his time often sacrificing time with his own family to help others. He always portrayed a genuine love from the depths of his heart to those around him. He took a personal interest in each individual and was very gifted at touching the lives of everyone he met. His dedication to the Lord was evident in the way he pastored his local church. He always felt and appreciated the support of the Sunnyslope congregation. Dad left his family a legacy of love and respect. Those who cherish his precious memories are his loving wife Inez, Son Ardell and Carrie (Coltyn and Ashley (Kayden, Aubrie and Grayson), Katie and Justin, Stacey, Easton and Addalyn); Son Darc and Marilee (Shera and Zoey); Son Jason and Melissa (Jackson and Blake); Daughter Rachelle; Son Brent and Cheyenne (Aleighah); Daughter Shauna and Ross (Braxton, Hadassah, Kai and Gianna). Dad was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, sister Beulah, grandsons Clay, Landon and Logan. Funeral Service 10:00 am Wednesday, August 17, 2016 Church of God in Christ, Mennonite Sunnyslope Congregation Linden, Alberta, Canada
