Florance Stern, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on October 4, 2022, at 84 years of age. Florance was born on September 5, 1938, to parents Glenn & Ruth McMann. Florance grew into a spirited young woman and soon won the heart of Alois Stern. The couple were married on February 7, 1957 and settled in Beiseker where they worked hard farming and raising their 4 children. Mom was a devoted mother and grandmother. Florance enjoyed gardening and could sew and repair any of our clothes, but above all she was a fantastic cook and baker. Those who knew her enjoyed her amazing fried chicken, Plachindas, homemade breads, pies, angel food cakes and chocolate pudding. Florance is survived by: 4 children Michael (Tammy), Tom (Tracy), Rhonda (Bryan), and Bill; 10 grandchildren Cody (Cassie), Cassidie, Jennifer (Scott), Jackie (Derek), Tyson (Ashley), Nathan (Nina), Simone, Jesse (Kimberlee), Ashley and Dustin (Kaitlyn); 12 great-grandchildren Blake, Rhett, Kegan, Sydney, Timber, Bo, Wylie, Jayden, Milana, Noah, Luca and Ozzy; sister Shirley (George), brother Wesley (Jeannie), as well as numerous nieces & nephews and cousins. Florance was predeceased by her husband Alois, granddaughter Rayle, and parents Glenn & Ruth McMann. Although mom is no longer with us, her memory will remain forever in the hearts and minds of all that knew and loved her. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
