IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Evan Riley
Klein
July 28, 2004 – November 5, 2023
Evan Riley Klein, 19, of Delburne Alberta, passed away on November 5, 2023 in Delburne.
Evan was born in Red Deer, Alberta to Emery and Sharleen Klein on July 28, 2004. He attended Delburne Centralized School, graduating in 2023. Evan had a positive impact on many younger students in school and is fondly remembered by past reading buddies, students he mentored, and the staff and students at DCS. Evan was currently beginning his career at LPS Crane as an apprentice and was loving the challenge. From a very young age Evan could be found outside helping Grandpa, dad, and Eythan on the farm. If there was something to fix he would be there to do what he could. Growing up, Evan loved his brother and sisters deeply. He was glad to always have someone to go on an adventure with and he did everything he could to keep up with them. Some of his favorite things to do were hanging out and making memories with his friends. He would often be found riding his dirt bike, fishing at the river, dancing at a party, singing in a car full of friends or creating hilarious snap chat stories. Evan is known for his kind heart, willingness to help others, and outgoing personality. He was unapologetic for who he was, which is what everyone loved about him. He will always be remembered for his "Evan smirk" and having a hug for anyone who needed it.
Evan is survived by: his Father, Emery Klein (Chris Graham) of Delburne; Mother Sharleen Klein (Kevin Dunlap) of Bentley; Siblings Eythan Klein, Amy Klein (Connor Steinman) and Janelle Klein; Grandparents Sheila Gorcak and Vicky Klein; Aunts and Uncles, Dean and Kim MacLeod, Dena and Don Hennig, Darren and Lindsey Gorcak, Gage and Victoria Seavilleklein; Cousins, Joel and Logan MacLeod, Jonah and Leah Hennig, Courtney and Austin Praud, Dakota Gorcak and Kalissa Seavilleklein. He is predeceased by his Grandfather's Elmer Klein and Pat Gorcak, and Uncle Orme Blue Klein.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Sunset Funeral Service, Crossroads Church and all of the friends and family who loved Evan and helped to guide him in life.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us everyday.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed
And very dear.
