Elsie was predeceased by her husband Roy, their son Wayne, her son-in-law Ian Keppie, her parents Phillipp and Katharina Hixt and her siblings Ron (Laura), Jack (Marie), Leah Tetz (Eiger), Alma Saunders (Grant) and Delora. She is survived by her children Virginia Keppie, Lynn Harty (Peter), Jane Hushagen (Brian) and Russell Berreth (Linda), her 7 grandchildren Troy, Jill, Trevor, Jason, Heather, Ryan and Colton, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Elsie lived and farmed in the Beiseker area for most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, curling, watching baseball and most of all playing piano, a gift she shared with many people in the United Church and the Beiseker community.
