The family of Elmer Jacobson sadly announces the sudden passing of Elmer on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the age of 76 years. He was a loving grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many people. He is survived by Viola, his loving wife of 54 years, and his two children Stan (Brenda) Red Deer, AB, and Trish Beam (Darrell) Golden, BC. Six grandchildren: Alicia (Matt), Tiffany Ardron (Eric), Chelsea (Ryan), Brittany (Riley), Makayla (Curtis), Dakota (Taryn) and nine great grandchildren Kairi, Victoria, Zacharia, Emelia, Kayden, Samantha, Dyson, Chloe and Jack and eleven siblings and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter at 9 months of age, and three brothers. A Celebration of Life service will be held July 17, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Red Deer, AB. In memory of Elmer if you would like to bring flowers, Lilies were his favorite and they will be planted in the garden in memory of Elmer. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
