IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth Margaret
Mcfadden
December 16, 1952 – October 15, 2025
Elizabeth (Liz) McFadden passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Three Hills, Alberta, with her husband at her side.
Liz was born in Oshawa, Ontario, on December 16, 1952, to Derek and Evelyn Cranham. She married Mark McFadden on September 27, 1975, and together they embarked on many adventures. Liz was always ready to travel and experience new things. Whether it was travelling across the country for a new job, living on an island or moving to Africa; she embraced it all with a sense of purpose and grace.
She has always been known for her kind and generous spirit, her willingness to work hard, and her love for others. Liz always had a scripture to offer, a prayer to say, and a hand to lend to those in need. She made friends everywhere she went, and people couldn't help but be drawn to her caring spirit.
Liz had a strong and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and shared this with all those around her. Even in her last days she was surrounded by a peace and knowledge of her salvation and walked willingly into her Saviour's arms.
Lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Mark; daughter, Lee Ann; grandchildren, Logan and Mikayla; sister Patricia (David); sister-in-law Lauren; sister-in-law Diane (Tom); nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends whose lives she has impacted across the world.
Predeceased by her son, Charles; parents, Derek and Evelyn; sister, Marilyn; brother, Daniel; father-in-law, Wilbert; mother-in-law, Doris; and sister-in-law Sharon.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~ Jeremiah 29:11
