Elizabeth (Bessie) Ellen Fraser passed away peacefully with her son and daughter-in-law by her side on November 13, 2017 at St. Marys Extended Care. This had been her home over the past 5 ½ years. Bessie was born February 3, 1926 in Trochu, Alberta, the first child of Thomas and Lil Edwards. She was raised on the farm east of Elnora. Bessie married Avery Fraser and to this union 7 children were born. Caroline (Melvin), Audrey (Keith), Wendy (Wayne), Connie, Darrell (Loretta), Lori (Allan), and Reta (Randy). Bessie was predeceased by her parents Tom and Lil Edwards, Brother Tommy, Husband Avery Fraser, Brothers-in-law Albert Svederus, and Bob Miller, Sons-in-law Ray Rogers and Wayne Christensen. She is survived by all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, her sisters Eileen and Shirley, and brother Lionel.
