With heavy hearts we share the passing of our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend, Eleanor Duft, at the age of 87.

Born in Elnora, Alberta, Eleanor built a life of love and hard work with her late husband Ray, raising their family in Trochu, Elnora, and on the farm. She is lovingly remembered by her children Brian (Wendy) and Yolanda, her siblings Percy (Nancy), Kay (Ron), and Elaine, her grandchildren Joni, Tracy, Gary, and Alicia, and her great-grandchildren Darian, Dorien, Whitney, Dominic, Kastin, Laylan, Chloe, Ryker, Nixon, and Navy.

Eleanor spent her life caring for others—through nursing, the family garage, farm work, and her ever-open home. She found joy in baking, gardening, crocheting, and above all, in time spent with her family.

She will be remembered for her warmth, gentle spirit, and the love she poured into everyone around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

As per her wishes, there will be no formal service. Her family will honor her life in the simple, everyday moments she treasured most.
