Doug was born in Toronto, ON on January 22, 1962. In his early years his family moved to Oshawa where Doug resided as a young boy, and after several members of his family moved to Calgary, he wanted to join them. In the late 60's Doug made the move to Calgary, where he remained until his death on February 12,2023 at the age of 61.

Doug is survived by his current partner Debbie; Son Cody (Jessica); Daughter Tiffany (Russell); Granddaughter Scarlett; Aunties MayAnn and Leona; Uncle Russ; along with several other relatives and friends.

Doug was predeceased by his father Allen; Mother Dianne; Stepfather Eric; Grandmother Louise; Sister Susan; Brother Donald; and Uncle Billy.

Doug spent many years in the printing business, taking pride in the work he was doing. He loved his family and cat and was always there to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A committal service will be held on March 8th, 2023 at 1pm, to place Doug to rest with his mother Dianne at Mountain View Memorial & Gardens, where they will remain together forever. A reception will be held at Chestermere Fellowship Church following the service which is located at 245014 Conrich Road, Rocky View County.
