Donna Marie Cook of Huxley departed from us on February 23rd at the Three Hills Hospital. Donna was born at Olds on Dec. 10th 1951 to Lucy and Bill Cook. Donna was raised in Hanna and has resided in Huxley since 1990. She is survived by Garry Hughes, sister Beverley Fraser, nephew Ryan Fraser (Kim) all of Huxley and niece Holly Smith of Cold Lake. She was predeceased by her daughter Michelle, sister Faye and parents Lucy and Bill. Donna was a peoples person. She liked little excursions, shopping, working with Garry to beautify the yard, being a foster parent and the girls who shared her home and having family and friends around her. She is leaving a void and will be truly missed. We want to thank all those who cared for Donna through her lengthy struggle with many health issues. Special thanks to Dr. Joubert and to Peter who was always only a call away. A celebration of Life will be held in May.
