Arnold Franke passed away on Sept. 11, 2015 at the Rosefield Centre, Innisfail at the age of 88 years. He was born in Slobodarka, Poland on Sept 2, 1927. His parents were Robert and Erna Franke. They came to Canada on the ship, the "Niew Amsterdam" and landed in Halifax in July 1928. Arnold farmed with his wife Ivy (Frohlich) for many years. He is survived by his children Marvin (Cheryl), Lorne (Marcy), Earl (Janet), Sharon (Steve) Strohschien, Valerie (Bruce) McArthur, and Kevin (Carol). 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Sept. 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m at the Trochu Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to the T.B.C. - Dominican Republic Missions 2015.
