Ann Wiebe, our dear sister, aunt and great aunt was born to Isaac and Mary at Giroux, Manitoba on May 25th, 1932, almost reaching her 90th birthday. She passed on peacefully with her sister Betty by her side on April 9, 2022 at Westview Care Community. She went to school at Antler across the valley from her homeplace and accepted Jesus as her Saviour in her youth. She was baptized in 1944. Ann worked at various jobs in Calgary over the years; Bethany and Grace Hospital and a Childrens Shelter. She also worked at the Linden Nursing Home as a dietary aid and assisted in recreation. She loved gardening at her place in Linden. She collected seeds in her garden and sold them to locals. She immensely enjoyed the plum trees she planted in her yard and sold those as well. She travelled to different places like the east coast and west coast. She loved visiting friends in the USA and relatives in Manitoba. After she sold her house, Ann moved to Lynn Haven in Linden. She spent the next 9 years in the Linden Lodge, then lived in the Westview Suites for 1 month. After 5 months in the hospital, Ann ended up in long term care until the day she left us. Those left to cherish her memories are her siblings Charlotte & Joe Toews, Claude & Mildred Wiebe and Betty Jantz, all of Linden, Alberta as well as nieces and nephews. Those waiting for Ann in glory are her parents Isaac siblings Arnold Wiebe, Selma & Abe Wohlgemuth, Bertha Wiebe, Leona Wiebe, Eldon Jantz; nephew Darrel Wohlgemuth; and infant niece Marilyn Wiebe.
