Obituary

Adolph Pauls March 7,1927 - April 6, 2016 Adolph was born in a farm workers house near Main Centre, Sk., to John and Tina Pauls. The family eventually grew to 10 children. Adolph graduated high school and went to Prairie Bible College for 4 years, graduating in 1950. He taught school in several places,including high school math, physics and sciences- fostering the love of astronomy in many students. He loved studying and watching the stars! Adolph also worked on the farm and tried several jobs including mechanics, custom combining and electrical. He was a musician. Singing and playing several instruments, including mandolin, auto harp, accordion and the saw. He married Hilda Hamm July 4th 1954 and was a devoted loving husband for almost 62 years. Adolph and Hilda adopted 5 children -Ken, Judy, Carey, Angela, and Laurie. He has 5 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He loved to take his family camping, boating, fishing and hunting, and built the children snow slides. He enjoyed playing games like Crokinole, stock-ticker, and scrabble. He was a man of discipline and order, but also deep compassion and passion for learning, reading, and teaching. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and reading the Bible. He spent much time and effort doing volunteer computer work and he transcribed video tapes to print for NCEM Tribal Trails. For the past 2 years Adolph was blessed with excellent and compassionate care while living at the Westview Care Community (formerly Linden Nursing Home) in Linden. Adolph went to join his Lord Jesus Christ in glory April 6, 2016, in the Three Hills Hospital after a valiant struggle with heart conditions and finally pneumonia. Funeral services held April 12, 2016 at the Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church in Three Hills, AB.
